Due to the difference in paper raw materials and processing technology, paper has the following categories:
1. Carbonless copy paper: a low-weight paper, mainly used for the printing of some bills and coupons. There are upper paper, middle paper, and lower paper, and they are copied downwards. Therefore, when purchasing, it is not only necessary to distinguish the upper, middle and lower papers, but also to check whether there are marks on the front and back. If the top, middle and bottom are misplaced or the front and back are turned over, an irreversible error will occur.
2. Sulfuric acid paper: the transparency is also relatively high, but the grammage is much higher than that of copy paper, the surface has a matte texture, and the hand feel is also very good. At present, the scope of application is also very wide, mainly including the ring lining of books or picture albums, the middle inserts, spot color ink printing, etc. It is a kind of paper that expresses a sense of design more ideally.
3. Double-offset paper: also called offset paper, Daolin paper, mainly used for offset printing machine printing, it is a relatively advanced book printing paper, our common single black books, and some color books use offset paper. Due to the strong color adsorption of offset paper, the printing color will be dark, but it is precisely because of this feature that it is favored by designers who want to express a certain design concept of returning to nature. In addition, double-adhesive paper is also a good writing paper. The inner paper of notepads seen on the market is made of double-adhesive paper.
4. Dumb powder paper should be said separately. It basically has all the other characteristics of coated paper except that the surface coating particles are larger than the light copper and produce a matte (dull, non-reflective) effect. Dumb, but also has an "elegant" temperament. It is precisely because of the matte texture of matte powder paper that it is often used in the printing of some high-end albums (such as some product albums, home furnishing, car albums, etc.). Of course, matte paper also has some bad features: due to the coating characteristics of the surface, the ink is not easy to dry during printing, and the drying time is about two-thirds longer than that of bare copper, and it is not as good as light copper in terms of folding resistance.
